April Fool's Day

I've never been big on April Fool's Day. I really don't care for practical jokes and am really not sure how this holiday came into prominence. I stayed in today. It's a rainy dreary day here. I just woke up from a nap, all three cats joined me. The house is so quiet. Barrett's in the hospital. I called and they said his girdle is still on and he's not too pleased with the situation. Poor baby. I can't wait until he's healed and home. I haven't heard yet about the photo contest from The Agile Rat. Josef was leading at 8:00 PM EST, we'll just have to be patient and wait for the results.
