Josef died in the early hours this morning while I was at work. He'd been gamely fighting nasty respiratory issues for some time now, but he was always happy and ready for a cuddle or a treat. He loved his graham cracker with echinacea, as well as yogies, watermelon, and almost anything else. He was my photogenic boy-winning the Agile Rat photo contest. I know we shouldn't have favorites, but Josef had that something extra and he was my special boy. He will be greatly missed.
