Dream

I had a very interesting dream last night. I had been chosen as part of a contest to be a writer for a screenplay. I was specifically chosen by the head writer-Alan Rickman. Alan Rickman wasn't Alan Rickman though-his name was Tony. (Don't ask me?!) So "Tony" and I started working on the script. At one point we flew to an exotic destination for "research". It was a very good dream.

Another interesting Night of Dreams

The dream started with old college friends and reading poetry. It then morphed into an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was a good plot too. I wasn't thinking of this show-so I'm not sure why it popped in my unconscious. I know that Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) is in a new show...but I haven't seen it. And I think Buddy TV had a Facebook post about Anthony Stewart Head (Giles), but I didn't click the link to read more. But Giles played a big part in the dream. He was quite funny. He kept finding the dead bodies; Faith doing her evil thing. Then Willow was dead-but she came back to life, scaring everyone. She was a faerie. And this started by being a high school reunion. Weird, but quite interesting. I'd watch it as a TV show.

Intresting Dreams

I had more interesting dreams last night-better than TV! One had me and a romantic interest going to Sausalito. Don't ask me where Sausalito came from. In another I was a witch who had been in France among other places called in by some major witch who questioned me along with 2 others, one of whom was a friend from college. Then the old witch captured me along with the 2 others-but Christopher Reeve was there and he was going to free us. Told you, interesting. Another dream was all work-with 2 co-workers complaining about a third. All true things too. What did you dream about?

Another Interesting Dream

I swear, sometimes I have the most interesting dreams. They're better than TV! This one was very complex with different parts. It included a haunted room in a college where there were 1 female and 2 male ghosts. The female had drowned, something to do with the bathtub-and she could still turn on the taps. She also could talk-not EVPs, but actually audible to me. "So you think you're going to have a good time tonight?" Chilling, huh? After some spooky stuff and figuring out how to stop her-give her the gifts still kept for her in the lobby of the hotel/college I went to some other building-and into my dream came Duff Goldman. Yes, Duff from Ace of Cakes. Geoff was there too. I was keeping a female waiting and she decided to go home alone-but that was where the ghost was (I guess I hadn't quieted her down). So Duff, Geoff, and I decided to go with her. She had gone on without waiting for us, so we followed. When we got there it was spooky and all the furniture had been pushed to one side of the room. And that was it. Interesting, huh?

Dreaming of Lizards, Rodent, and Dog

I had a weird series of dreams today. I had another restless night, I guess I was worried I wouldn't wake up in time, as I had to wake up early to attend a book signing. Anyway, at one point I was in a store looking at a display of animals for sale. They were mostly snakes and lizards. Then I felt something tugging at my pant leg. I turned to look and it was a capybara! I was petting the guy. Then I sat down to pet him more, wishing someone had a camera. His fur was kind of coming out in clumps and I was worried that he was ill. Suddenly a beautiful dog bounded over and licked me on the face. She was a gorgeous Shepard mix...she kind of looked like my Brioche. A worker came over and said her name was Sarah. I wanted to adopt her and I asked if she liked cats. The worker said, no, she didn't get along with cats. I gave Sarah a hug and told her I couldn't bring her home as I had 3 cats

Dreams

I had another interesting dream that was like watching a TV show. I wasn't in it at all, just watching what was going on, like a movie. It was pretty good too-although I don't remember what it was about now. Sadly, that's the state of most TV shows and films lately.

Adventure Dream

I had such an interesting adventure dream. I wish I could plug my brain into a computer and download my subconscious dream world. Today's dream would make a great movie! I wish it went on longer. Basic story-guy in house (kind of like my grandparents-in that there's a secret way out). He's being chased by bad guys. Gets the kitten and escapes. Meanwhile I'm also looking for him-we do escape together and start driving heading for Canada. He picks up a trunk with necessary supplies-but we know that's suspicious so we stop at Goodwill to pick up suitcases. Can pay by cash and no one will trace it to us. It's run by Salvation Army people. They want our info for census reasons. The hero is taken aback. Lead Salvation guy figures out something's up, but is on our side and gives us his address to use. I look for clothes-we decide to pose as honeymooners and I look for a bridal type traveling outfit...and honeymoon lingerie. Yup, here's the romance, guy doesn't know it, but Salvation guy figures it out and counsels me. I get a ring and hero and I head to Niagara Falls, Canada taking the Rainbow Bridge (lesser used...really it is). He has a contact who will take the car North East and towards Vermont...on the Canadian side. We'll then hide out in a Niagara Falls hotel for a few days. I only wish I knew what happened next. Sadly, I woke up.

TV Dreaming

Do you ever dream new episodes of your favorite TV shows? Not day dream and think about them, but actually fall asleep and watch the "new" episode. I've done it before and I did it again. Last evening, while awake, I watched an episode of Bones. It really moved me, as it was about dogs and dog fighting. Anyway, I dreamed a follow up episode. It was pretty good too.

Rough Night

What a night I had last night. It was filled with nightmares, weird dreams, a painful leg, and a giant cricket! It started with difficulty falling asleep and leg pain. Then I had this creepy nightmare. I managed to wake myself up, but then heard the giant cricket. I looked at the clock-4:10 AM (which is actually like 3:40 AM, I set the bedroom clock ahead some), I tried sleeping through it. No dice, too loud. I got up, of course I can't reach it. I got downstairs, got the step ladder, set it up, took the detector down and removed the battery. Of course, I couldn't close the ladder, so I put it in the library and tried to get back to sleep. I succeeded, only to return to weird dreams. Fortunately, they weren't that scary, although it definitely had a scary dimension to it. I was with a group and we were moving to this building. It was weird and spooky and oddly painted. I got a really bad feeling from my room, #123. Then I found out the previous tenant had been murdered and was haunting the place. Still, that dream was not as unsettling as the first one set in a weird, scary 3 story Victorian home and when you looked at the furniture, you saw your reflection..then the reflection started to change. Creepy!

Dream TV

Last night was a dream fest. All night long I had very interesting dreams; it was better than TV. They're all kind of vague now (don't you hate that?) and many details are lost, or confused. I have a feeling explaining them will be difficult. The main dream involved me and Joe Perry.
I don't remember much, but we were trying to stop Steven Tyler who was back on drugs (sorry Steve, know you're clean) and was climbing huge trees and setting them on fire. Joe was very upset, so upset he even threw up! He then explained how difficult things were. We were at an outdoor site with lots of tents that had crafts-and wines. Joe was gone, but my folks were there and we were in a tent that sold wines with neat names-like Organic Bunny. The staff made me leave as animals weren't allowed and I was now holding a cat. (?) My mom wanted me to open a bottle of wine first, which I think I did. Then I was looking for Joe and my dad brought someone who had a mild resemblance to Joe, but was like 20 years old. I thanked my dad, but said that wasn't him as Joe was closer to his (my dad's) age. (He's 11 years younger than my dad and 18 years older than me.) We were in a church at this point. I don't know why. Another dream had the end of the world occurring. I went to the basement and survived even though the outside temperature was something (I don't remember the number now.) that would kill you. Then I ran into these cult members and it went on and on and was quite interesting. I'm sure my night had better viewing than my TV choices today!

No Fair!

I was having the most wonderful dream. Chris Eccleston had just told me I was "gorgeous". His words. That's a quote mind you. I couldn't believe it, even in my dream, and said, "What?" He replied, "I said you were ug..." then he grinned and said, "you heard what I said". Then, I WOKE UP! Aurggg. I wanted more. I have no idea why I woke up. No alarm. Barrett wasn't barking or poking me to get up. Aleister and Seneca were both asleep. Who knows where Callie was. It was only 7:30 AM. No fair. Want more romantic dreams with Chris Eccleston. Grrr, waking up. I went back to sleep, but couldn't get him back. Damn.

Dr. Who

Another night of weird dreams. I'm fairly certain I can lay the blame on Dr. Who as I was dreaming of being on a space ship dealing with aliens. I've just started to watch Dr. Who. I remember him as a short guy with curly hair and a long knit scarf. Today however, there is quite a different Dr. Who, in appearance anyway, I never saw an episode featuring the other actor. Actually, there may be a few Dr. Whos-but I'm watching David Tennant. (OK, I just discovered that David Tennant is the 10th Dr. Who while the guy I immediately think of as Dr. Who was actually the 4th.) Dr. Who comes on after my BBC comedies on PBS Saturday nights. Usually I go to bed after Fresh Fields, but a few weeks ago I was getting ready to shut off the TV when I saw Beth from Moonlight. I stayed to see if it really was her (it was, she was a guest star). The story was really good-and I've been watching it ever since. I don't know the story behind Dr. Who, I guess he has different companions. Right now he has Rose. I'm not that fond of her. I liked one episode I saw with a different woman, Donna, anyway, I really liked her-but she died at the end of the episode. All the rest I've seen have been with Rose. At any rate, I'm enjoying the series, even if I am having weird dreams because of it!

Weird Dreams

I had weird dreams all last night. I was canoeing in an ocean for one, trying to get the hair dryer away from a noisy wedding guest at a hotel, and giving away items to a theatre group, which led to people from the trailer park doing the same, which led to a disgusting horror show on TV. Weird. Was it something I ate?

Interesting Dreams

Sometimes I have such interesting dreams. Last night was a night in point. I had several dreams, including one where I was communicating with ghosts through a light (it would blink or grow brighter or dimmer in response to my questions) in my Aunt Bert's former house. I wasn't sure if I was communicating with her spirit or not-but ghostly things were afoot. I also was taking classes and got annoyed that every Tuesday and Thursday I had a class that ended at 7AM and the next one wasn't until 9:30AM. Then I was head of a group of people that found these guys in a building and the others let them go without IDing them. My concern, what if we found a dead body in a room and then where would we be?! Then the hostage, and the outdoor class...I had a busy night. No wonder it was so hard to get up. I was so comfy in bed, the cats (all 3) around me, and I was interested in the stories in my head! I could have stayed in bed all day...if I didn't have to go to work, I would have stayed even longer!

Early

I know I've mentioned it before, but it has gotten so difficult for me to get up early. Even for fun stuff. This morning I'm meeting friends out of town-OK-out of state and I have to get up, get to the farmer's market to pick up baked goods, load up the car, and head out. But it was hard getting up. Especially when I have these interesting dreams. This one involved carriage racing and a romance with a 400 year old vampire, who wasn't a vampire in the dream (I don't think), who isn't even my type. Although, honestly, I don't really have a "type". Hmmm, yup, still thinking about the dream. Well, I have to slap on some makeup and get moving! I'll write more later.

Sleep

I admit it. I love to sleep. Generally, I dislike getting up and out of bed-even when I'm getting up to do something fun. My alarm goes off and I push snooze so many times-sometimes up to an hour or more. I'm just so comfy. Sometimes I have very interesting dreams and like to fall back asleep to attempt to recapture them to try to discover what happens next. I've been staying late at work this week too, plus work's been extraordinarily stressful, add to that a headache, so I really did not want to get up today. But I'm up and dressed and writing my blog before I eat and go back to work. Too bad I can't stay in my pjs all day.
