Please send prayers, healing thoughts, and good wishes to my little Slipper. He's in hospital with pneumonia. He was fine Sunday, didn't look that great Monday, then last night he didn't join his brothers for supper. When I picked him up he was cold! I managed to get a few drops of baby food in him, but that was it. He was having difficulty breathing. I had to just drop him of at the vet's this morning, as the doctors were both in surgery. The doctor just called me. He's in an oxygen tank and will be nubulized twice a day with 2 kinds of antibiotics and lasix. His prognosis is iffy. Slipper is only 1 year and 7 months old. In all the years I've had rats, I haven't lost one prior to 2 years. I want to keep it that way.
