It is almost as versatile as cotton, although not as wearing (never seen denim style fabric out of rayon), and I find it more comfy, soft and, in some ways, forgiving.<BR/><BR/>OTOH, if I were in a less technologically advanced society (and where would they get rayon anyway?), I'd certainly go for cotton. Nothing more sustainable than a fiber you can grow, and don't have to feed, and it IS highly versatile.
